Home for the weekend

This weekend I returned home to San Diego to go visit my Mom. My mom is a very important person in my life, and I try to help her out when I can. She was diagnosed with breast cancer a few years ago, and is now in recovery. I went home with my boyfriend, and she welcomed us with delicious and healthy food. My mom is really into health, and so I am always hearing about vitamins to take, new health foods available at Trader Joe's and other things like that. My dog was extremely happy to see me. I went out Saturday night with my friends to karaoke, which was so fun! Sunday morning we took it easy, and Kyle worked on his homework while I visited with my mom and watched some America's Got Talent. I helped my mom out with some techie stuff, and worked on creating a webpage for her to sell jewelry with.

Some of my goals this week are to find some places to make new friends, such as the Honor's society, get some more direction in my internship, and make a decision about dropping my career class and enrolling in another. Before I forget, I better check my pipeline to see if some of the professors emailed me. I love that at SBCC everything is pretty much managed with the same site, which is pipeline, and I can easilly email professors by just typing in their name and finding it in the campus wide address book.
