Tuesday was International Peace Day, and I helped to promote it by creating a video featuring the Student's Coalition at SBCC. That's Vanessa and Megan in the photo to the left. The Student's Coalition is a really great organization, focused on peace and creating positive change in the world. They were started by Tina Kistler, who is a professor at SBCC. Their goal is Our goal is to help students be catalysts for change. They support students who are working on environmental, educational, humanitarian, and social justice projects. The SBCC Chapter meets Fridays from 11:15-12:30 in the Business Communication (BC) Building Room 224.
Watch for next week, when I will have a video created about their library display featuring children's art from the Sudan.
