Hanging out with Hillel

This weekend I have been doing a LOT with Hillel. Hillel is a Jewish organization that hold lots of fun events. You can find them on facebook here. I like them because they have a lot of freedom in that while they're a religious group, I don't feel awkward and I'm not very religious at all. Connecting with that group is important to me not so much because of the religion, but because of the culture.

On Friday evening I attended a Shabbat, and I ate dinner at Hillel. It was cool meeting with people, and after Shabbat I went out to state street with some people from Hillel. Then on Saturday,  I joined group of about 30 or 40 people to go on a hike. There will certainly be some pictures at some point from there, though I don't know how badly people want to see me in my hiking mode (i.e. sweaty and dirty). Despite the difficulty of it, I am so glad that I did it and I am now very inspired to eat healthy and exercise. Speaking of excercise, I really need to attend an event with the yoga club.
