This past week I did so many different interviews and put together so much footage, but one that really stands out is meeting with the T.A.P. program. They describe themselves on their site:
T.A.P. is a comprehensive support program designed to assist under-represented students who are planning to transfer to a four-year college or university. Our goal is to facilitate a smooth transition from SBCC to a four-year institution.
The reason T.A.P. really stands out to me is it is directed by Francisco Dorame, who is a very caring individual. The T.A.P. program comes together like a family, and Francisco helps support students who are often the first in their family to attend college. He's extremely informative, and easy to reach by email or by phone: (805)965-0581 x2691.
Stay tuned for the video of the TAP students!
