Film Class

So on Mondays and Wednesdays nights I have film class with Ted Mills. I just decided to see what I could find when I searched for film production on the main site, and I found a link to their main site and a the site they designed for the program, and one for the film studies program. Anyways, last night we watched a short documentary called Avatar. No, it's not the one with the blue people by James Cameron, but a short film made in Spain. It was extremely suspenseful, and I realized it was really well done because he went over all the subtle parts that made the movie work, and we (the class) started realize that everything was on purpose. He used the short film to teach us about what elements make a movie (like lighting and colors etc) and who is in charge of those. Then we learned about what is said on set before the filming process, like "Camera rolling". I thought it was really fun, and to be honest I'm kind of curious now about the movie business. We'll see what happens...
