Visiting with the Q & A Club

Yesterday I went to the first advertised student meeting on facebook for the Queer Ally Club. I attended their meeting for a little while to get to meet the students, and to touch base with their officers.

They discussed where they were meeting, who would serve as an officer etc. I learned that some of the events they are planning are a variety show, including a variety of talent such as dancing and singing, in correlation with UCSB, and Pangea Fest, which is in correlation with the Student Coalition, another on campus group. Everyone at the meeting was really friendly and down to earth. and it was great for me to touch base with them!
